Artist Statement
My practice is rooted in the exploration of memory and structural decay. I work primarily with heavy body acrylics and raw pigment, building up surfaces only to scrape them away. This process of addition and subtraction mirrors how history is recorded and ultimately forgotten.
Currently operating out of a studio in Brooklyn, I am exploring the tension between rigid geometric forms and organic, chaotic textures. The resulting works are less about a specific subject and more about the physical act of documentation.
